ARB Winch Extension Strap

Sometimes the best anchor is simply farther away than the winch line reaches. A low-stretch winch extension strap bridges that distance without adding the elastic behavior of a snatch strap, letting you keep the winch doing the controlled pulling.

This is one of those pieces of gear that seems optional until the only good tree or anchor point sits ten feet beyond the rope. Keep it clearly separated from kinetic straps in the bag, inspect the webbing and loops after use, and protect it from sharp edges. Reach is a recovery capability all by itself.
