Brembo DOT 5.1 Brake Fluid

For ABS-equipped road vehicles that call for a high-performance glycol fluid, DOT 5.1 is the step beyond ordinary DOT 4. for brake systems that call for DOT 3, DOT 4 or DOT 5.1 compatibility—not silicone DOT 5. Its value is higher boiling performance and good low-temperature behavior for ABS-equipped road vehicles without moving into the maintenance expectations of a full racing fluid.

Always confirm the vehicle manufacturer’s fluid specification before changing grades. A complete flush is better than mixing unknown old fluid with new. The objective is a firm, repeatable pedal from the first stop of the trip to the last descent home.
