ICON RXT Multi-Rate Rear Leaf Spring | 2010-2021 Toyota Tundra

The second-generation Tundra can be a comfortable empty pickup on Monday and a very different truck once the rack, tent, spare, tools and camping load go in for the weekend. ICON's RXT leaf spring is built around that reality. Instead of locking the rear into one spring rate, the pack can be configured three ways so you can bias the truck toward unloaded ride quality or add support as permanent weight increases.

In its lighter configuration, the RXT pack is intended to free up the rear suspension and improve compliance over smaller, choppier terrain. The included add-in leaf can increase spring rate by 15% or 25% for more heavily outfitted trucks. Pair it with ICON's RXT rear shock and the package can also unlock substantially more usable rear travel without giving away up-travel.

Why it makes sense

This is a better answer than simply installing the stiffest spring you can find. A trail truck that carries 600 pounds every day needs something different from a Tundra that only gets loaded for trips. The RXT lets the spring follow the build.
