ICON Delta Joint Tubular Upper Control Arms | 2021-2024 Ram 1500

Once the front of a Ram 1500 is leveled or given more travel, the upper control arm becomes part of the geometry conversation. ICON's tubular arm is built with caster correction and a high-angle Delta Joint so the suspension can move through a larger range without asking the factory ball joint to work at the edge of its comfort zone.

The arms use CNC-bent 1026 DOM steel with a durable powder-coated finish. At the chassis, serviceable dual-stage bushings keep movement controlled. At the knuckle, ICON's greaseable Delta Joint combines the sealed, road-friendly character of a ball joint with more angularity than a conventional OE joint.

Why it matters

A control arm is not a lift by itself. Its job is to make the rest of the front suspension work correctly at the new ride height: restore useful alignment range, reduce bind and preserve articulation. Paired with ICON 2.5 coilovers, these arms also support the additional travel that makes that shock upgrade worthwhile.
