ICON 2.5 VS Front Coilovers | 2021-2024 Ram 1500

ICON's 2.5 VS coilover is the serious step up for a Ram 1500 that still has to be a good road truck. The larger shock body, vehicle-specific damping and adjustable spring perch give the front end more control and usable travel than a basic leveling strut, without turning the truck into a dedicated desert build.

Lift range depends on generation: 2009-2018 trucks can be set from roughly 0.75-2.5 inches over stock, while 2019-up trucks use a 0-1.5 inch range. The damping is tuned for the application, with extra low-speed control to settle body roll and chassis movement while retaining compliance when the surface gets broken or loose.

Why it makes sense

This is the kind of coilover we like for a truck that sees long highway miles to get to dirt. It adds front-end discipline without giving up the ability to absorb a rough forest road or a fast washboard section. The rebuildable, revalveable construction also matters if you intend to keep and use the truck for years.
