ICON 1.5-Inch Multi-Rate Rear Springs | 2020-2022 Jeep Gladiator

ICON calls this a Multi-Rate rear spring, and the useful part is the three-rate behavior built into it. A soft droop section comes into play near full extension, the ride rate handles normal driving, and the firmer overload rate adds support as the Gladiator carries more weight or moves deeper into compression.

That makes the 1.5-inch spring a better match than a spacer for JTs that regularly carry a rack, tent, recovery gear or other permanent load. With ICON’s longer-travel shocks, the spring is also designed to support roughly 23% more rear wheel travel.
