ICON’s LC250/GX550 rear coils add about two inches of ride height and use a softer ride rate over a firmer overload rate. That gives the rear suspension room to stay compliant over broken pavement and trail chatter without giving away all of its support when the truck is loaded or pushed deeper into compression.

An adjustable rear track bar is recommended after the lift to re-center the axle. ICON also notes that added accessory weight will reduce actual lift height, so a bumper, cargo system or constant camping load should be part of the spring decision rather than an afterthought.
