MAXTRAX XTREME is for the owner who wants maximum tooth bite and serviceability from a traction board. The XTREME design uses replaceable alloy teeth in a reinforced board, giving the tire a harder contact point than an all-polymer recovery track while retaining the familiar double-ramp, shovel and handhold layout.

That makes sense on heavy trucks, repeated trips and terrain where the boards are real tools rather than emergency decorations. Use steady throttle—metal teeth can still lose the argument with a spinning 35-inch tire—and carry retrieval leashes if the trail is muddy enough that the boards may disappear under the truck after the recovery.
