Rampage 1955-2019 Universal Trail Recovery Axe - Black

A compact trail axe is one of those general-purpose tools that earns its weight when a fallen limb blocks the trail, camp needs firewood or a recovery line needs a little clearing room. It is not a substitute for a saw on big timber, but it covers a lot of smaller jobs without taking much cargo space.

Store the edge protected and strap the tool down securely. Sharp steel becomes dangerous loose cargo in a rollover or hard stop. Carried properly, it is exactly the sort of simple tool that can keep a minor obstacle from dictating the route home.
