Weigh Safe’s 180 Hitch solves the everyday adjustable-hitch problem cleanly: set the trailer height, use the 2-inch or 2-5/16-inch ball, then rotate the ball platform under the receiver when you are not towing. The 2.5-inch shank versions can be rated as high as 18,500 lb GTW on the 2-5/16-inch ball, depending on the exact configuration.

The important job is still setup. Measure the trailer coupler height on level ground and use only enough drop/rise to tow level. A good adjustable hitch makes switching trailers easy; it does not increase the truck, receiver or trailer rating. The lowest rating in the chain is always the one that matters.
